Shantel is the head of our Real Estate department. After obtaining her Law Degree from The University of Technology, Jamaica, she became one of the 10% of applicants from her university to get accepted into the highly competitive Norman Manley Law School. Starting to practice independently, straight out of law school, she was forced to learn quickly about the significance of due diligence and some of the surprises lurking in your average share sale agreement and commercial contracts. These days, big commercial real estate contracts hold no fears for her. Her ability to negotiate seamlessly on her client’s behalf is impressive.
Shantel has managed to gain significant experience in the sale and purchase of real estate, both residential and commercial. She also has experience in representing clients purchasing properties under private treaties requiring way more attention than your average conveyance.
We must note as well that she has come to know several real estate dealers, brokers, and developers so if you have problems finding your dream home and selling your property, talking to Shantel is an excellent place to start.
Shantel is a graduate of the Bucerius Law School based in Hamburg Germany where she received her Masters in Law and Business.
